Sunday Morning. Breakfast was had at a wonderful Chinese resturant, the name of which completely escapes me now.
Learning our lesson from Friday morning that 3am was much to early to be heading out on the road, Cat and I instead headed out at midnight.
Twenty one hours later we pulled into Cat's driveway. The Cat had performed flawlesly for the whole 2,000+ roadtrip. And in the driveway she decided to have her mechanical quirk show up.
She burned up the ignition switch (and I mean burned, the it was partially melted when I removed it). this meant that I couldn't turn the key at all, and thus couldn't turn The Cat off. I ended up pulling the coil wire to get her to shut off. Took parts from a junkyard steering column, and a whole afternoon to get her fixed.
