I hit the worst of the rust with a wire wheel, put two coats of MasterSeries anti-rust paint on it, topped it with a thick layer of Tractor Supply cheap black brush-on enamel, and used some random spray-paint I had laying around to do the mouth. It was a $100 snowblower so I wasn’t worried about a perfect finish, just slowing the corrosion.
What kind of paint did you use and what did you do to prep it? I need to repaint my snow thrower as well.
