Automotive Idiocy
Ok, these pics were taken at a local junkyard, but this hack-job was clearly done before thecar was wrecked. The owner had decided he wanted cool fender vents. However instead of grafting some on, or having louvers punched or any other high-quality version he went for this. The vents were created by cutting C's in the body then bending the resulting tab in. They weren't even measured straight, and when bending htem in ended up warping the entire fender. They then stuffed some expanded metal mesh in the space between the fender and the inner fender liner for that extra cool factor.
